Artists About AIDS - The Exhibition

Meanwhile, the originals from the book "Artist About AIDS" have been framed - if possible together with a photo of the respective artist - and are presented worldwide in form of a touring exhibition which started in 1997. Additionaly, the entries can be viewed on the internet via this website.

Presently no other dates have been confirmed. We are currently planing exhibitions in London and New York.

The exhibition consists of frames sized A4 and A3. That means the exhibition can also be hung in smaller rooms, thus avoiding the renting of expensive exhibitions space as a general rule. The exhibition is accompanied by a catalogue in form of a facsimile reprint of 67 entries.

We would be happy if AIDS charity organizations or individual persons would organize an exhibition in their city. In addition to suitable exhibition space you simply have to coordinate the proper transport of the frames (which will easily fit into a standard car) as well as to contract insurance of the exhibition (during transport and duration of the event).
